Visa Guide for Foreign Visitors Attending the CACE

1. Visa Types Required

• Business Visa (M Visa): For attendees engaging in commercial activities (e.g., business meetings, exhibitions).

• Tourist Visa (L Visa): If visiting for tourism before/after the expo (not for official business).

• Short-Term (F Visa): For non-commercial exchanges (e.g., academic visits).

Recommended: Apply for an M Visa if your primary purpose is exhibition-related.

2. Required Documents

• Invitation Letter: Official invitation from the expo organizer (provided upon request via the expo website or contact).

• Passport: Valid for ≥6 months with 2 blank pages.

• Visa Application Form: Complete the China Online Visa Application (COVA) form, print, and sign.

• Photo: One recent passport-sized photo (white background, 48mm×33mm).

• Proof of Accommodation: Hotel reservation or host’s address in China.

• Flight Itinerary: Round-trip ticket booking (not mandatory to purchase before visa approval).

• Employment Proof: Company letter stating your position, visit purpose, and financial coverage.

3. Application Process

1. Submit Online: Fill out the COVA form at https://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn.

2. Book Appointment: Schedule with your local Chinese Embassy/Consulate or visa agency.

3. Submit Documents: Visit in person or via an authorized agent.

4. Processing Time: Typically 4–7 working days (expedited service available for extra fees).

Note: Some countries qualify for 72/144-Hour Visa-Free Transit (check if your itinerary qualifies).

• Apply at least 1 month before travel to avoid delays.

• Double-check the expo dates (Oct 23–25, 2025) and visa validity period.
